RadioFrequency Micro-needling

How Does It Work?

The micro-needle cartridge is placed with precision over the desired treatment area where the gold plated PiXel 8-RF tips then penetrate the area. The micro-needling system delivers radiofrequency energy directly into epidermal, dermal, and sub-dermal layers of tissue in order to heat and stimulate collagen. Meanwhile, the Arctic Chill cools the treatment area by delivering cold air at -13 degrees, ensuring a virtually painless.

PiXel 8-RF uses tiny needles to deliver RF energy deep into your skin, creating micro lesions that trigger your body’s natural healing response and promote production of new collagen and elastin, to firm and remodel skin. The treatment benefits a wide range of skin concerns. It can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, firm lax skin, smooth out rough or uneven skin texture, reduce the size of large pores, treat hyperpigmentation and acne scarring, and help fade stretch marks.

The PiXel8-RF was developed to combat the signs of aging. The PiXel8-RF is suited for all skin types, and after a single treatment, most patients notice that the area treated is smoother and softer. Radio-Frequency tightens the skin, while micro-needling helps to stimulate collagen.

The amount of energy delivered into the tissue is adjustable and the micro-needles can be adjusted from .5mm up to 3.5mm to address each individual patient’s needs. During the treatment, heat is driven deep within the skin layers to stimulate and remodel collagen and cause elastin cells to regenerate. This results in a firmer, smoother, and more consistent skin surface.

The PiXel8-RF uses a unique design for tissue coagulation and hemostasis that may improve fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars and striae.

The Face, Neck, and Body can be treated using a series of Pixel8-RF Micro-Needling treatments with 3-6 treatments 4-6 weeks apart are recommended to achieve the best results. Maintenance treatments can be performed once to twice per year, depending on patient goals.
